sorry to be away from my desk, yes mi VS Nº7E has a hand detachable side screw. But we have to remember that this was an optional item that some middle men and costumers did not like for different reasons.

Your gun resembles a 6E. My opinion. You might want to run this through the folks on the Spanish Forum at Shotgunworld...they would swarm this thread with useful information.

My 1974 Victor Sarasqueta catalogue pictures your gun. It is the model 6 without auto ejectors and the model 6E with ejectors.For many years I owned a 20 G model 7E it was exactly as illustrated in an earlier post.

Thanks to all. I guess I was wrong in my guess that it was a 4E. Seems at the minimum it is a model 6. I'll be sure to change the notes that I have on this one.
