Greg, as I've posted here and in Spanish Shotguns (SW.com), I shoot 2 3/4" #2 steel in my Grulla Pigeon gun with fixed .009"/.019" chokes with no problem. Stay more open than .025" and you should be fine. I hope this doesn't become a Parker Repo (sic) thread!

Good One Joe!!!!! I do too. Thanks for all your kind responses in the past with regards to this subject. Boy, I just want to make sure I don't do anything to screw up a good gun. I guess I just want to get that warm and fuzzy feeling. Rather than a lot of "I think" type answers, ones like yours is what I'm after. Folks who have and do use steel in fixed choked guns and what their experiences are.
