Gauge for gauge a Parker Reproduction is the absolute best value of any of its competitors in the same price bracket. One only needs to pick up an RBL and then pick up a Repro to see and feel the obvious.
You can't buy a 20-ga. RBL w/30" bbls...but you can buy 20-ga. 30" bbls. for a Parker Repro. Find a 30" 20-ga. DHE Parker Bros. gun in decent shape at anything within quadruple the current market price of a Repro and you've found a real bargain---not everyone can justify this kind of investment to get the real McCoy.
There are those that say the Galazan-built CSMC Foxes are as much a Fox as the original A.H. Fox guns, some say that the Lamboy-built Ithaca Classic Doubles are as much Ithacas as the original Ithaca guns and there are those that say that Parker Repros are as much Parkers as original Meriden-built Parker Bros. guns...they are what you think they are.
