italiansxs, maybe it was bad light or bad angle, but the barrels do touch at the muzzle and they ring. They are an even 28". That is what led me to belive I was looking at a gun with original barrel lenght at the show. I guess I should have noticed the bead off center. Well, at least through this experience I got information to look for the next time I consider buying a Parker - if the matting goes all the way to the end, it equals cut barrels. I guess I just have a shooter. Thanks for the help.
