He is mentioned in Fred Ness' "Practical Dope on the 22" and in Landis' books on "22 Caliber Varmint Rifles" and "Woodchucks and Woodchuck Rifles". Landis reported that Gipson was "president and co-owner of the Neidner Rifle Corporation". Is Landis correct?
