Why are you trying hotter loads rather than going the other direction? It sounds brutal now, and surely will be more so at 200fps more with same bullet!
My interest is not casual. James Tucker is restoring a 16 Paradox H & H for me, so I may have the same issues. It was only slightly heavier than your Simson, but the new stock may add a couple of ounces. The H & H may have a bit more area on the butt, but it is not a big gun. This may require a little "Tom Sawyer" like deception of fellow posters to get a load worked up!
