Anyone know where I can buy some Eight Guage Shells? I understand RST and Gamebore don't sell them. Thanks Bill McPhail

The best 8 gauge shells loaded in the US are done by Tom Armbrust over in Illinois. Of course I can't find his phone number right now but I'm sure somebody here has it handy. You can tell Tom what kind of gun you've got, what weight it is, and he'll figure out a load for you that's just right.

Tom Armbrust 815-385-0037. I found that number on two different websites after I got off the phone with Dr. McPhail. I hope it is a good number. Let us know how much we are going to have to pay for lead shot eight gauge ammunition.

Bill: I'll bet you could get them to pay a lot more to shoot a four.

Tom can get (or already has) 4 gauge hulls from Alan Myers and I believe can load the shells as well.

P.S. to Murphy: Last time I got 8 gauge from him they were around $1.80 each loaded with 1 3/4 ounces of 7 1/2 but they may have gone up due to shot prices.

Now shot prices are down about 50%, so maybe things are better. I may start buying his shells since I am way behind on the use of my loading room.
