16/28"/F&IC. Has had forcing cones extended and bores bear a high polish. Gun was reportedly being set up for sporting clays. Barrel exterior is 100%, cc is 85%, wood and checkering are excellent. The gun reflects very little use. All original, excluding forcing cone and interior polish work.

Hunter Arms made the Fulton, 1915, Fulton Special, 1916, and Hunter Special, 1937. The Hunter Special had a retail price of $30.00 then, the Fulton was $18 in 1915, and the Fulton Special was $25 in 1916.
The Fulton was also a Hunter success for many thousands were sold through Sears, Roebuck and Company and general hardware stores.
During the 30's you could get a Non-Selective Trigger, Beavertail forend, iron sights, and a recoil pad. In 1945, the end of Hunter Arms due to backruptcy, the Fulton was $75. Total of 55,474 Fulton and Hunter guns made.

If you go to this web site, you will see a Hunter Arms Gladiator, I think it is a Diamond Grade, only made 66 of these. very nice looking gun and very resonable. Hunter Arms made these for Sears, Roebuck and Company from 1917-1919. Made a total of 539 Gladiators, of which 174 were hammer guns.

If it the Hunter Special, with the rotary bolt, I would say it's worth about $600-$650, but dear old Klunk said I was always low.. I sold one about a year ago for $500, just about a 90%, unaltered gun.. MDC

Seems like there's been a considerable boon to the value of these guns lately.
