Thanks for the replies, I've found an unaltered m-54 trigger and it works with a double pull, which I'm OK with.[The G&H mod was to a single pull.] The m-70 type trigger would work with some modification I think, except that the bolt stop would not work to release the bolt for removal from the rifle. The later m-54 has a one piece firing pin, and not the springfield removable tip type. The number of my rifle is 50137. The "Blue Book" lists the last m-54 number as 50145; interesting.
