I just ran through dozens of Daly pictures and note that a fairly small percentage have straight grips. I saw one hammer straight grip and it had a long tang. I saw Three hammerless straight grips , with two having long tangs, and No. 3702 having a short tang that seems to look correct. http://www.bakercollectors.com/
