I have shot both the 2-1/2" 12's and 16's that he loads and love them. They seemed to have soft recoil, leave little residue and broke targets when I did my part.

I bought all the 16's he had at the U.P. shoot.

Thanks for the tip. I contacted them and have found the first producers of specialty low pressure ammo who seem to be willing to ship to Hawaii. It is perfectly legal to do so, it costs a bit more, and I am willing to pay the cost. However, before nobody else would even make the effort to ship via FedEx who will deliver to my door. I am not sure why, if I pick up the cost. You can bring back 5 boxes on the airlines, but if you don't fly to the mainland that often its a pain.

Don't bring up rolling your own. The wife would kill me, and getting the supplies in Hawaii is just about as hard.

I too have shot these shells, and found them to be very effective on targets, yet low recoil.

How 'bout getting a new wife and rolling your own

Greg, you probably already know about William Larkin Moore's 7000 psi 2 1/2" 16 ga loads, but I thought I'd mention them anyway.

The reason you are having trouble getting ammo shipped to HI is that it has to go via air. If your a UPS shipper, you can not send ammo via air unless you go through their hazardious materials shipping certification.
