Fox, the Jan./Feb. 1990 Vol II Issue 2 issue of Game Country was the 8th. and finial issue of that magazine. Only 8 issues. Nov./Dec. 1988 to Jan./Feb. 1990.

It was reborn as the Game Journal(sub title The Best of Hunting and Fishing) Vol I, Issue 1 Jan./Feb. 1992 and lasted only 9 issues to Vol II, Issue 3. At Vol I, Issue 5 the sub title was changed to The Best of Big Game Hunting and there was no mouth designation on the remaining issues.

They were very good magazines that just didn't gain enough following.
I an proud to have a complete set of each one in slip cases.

Will it be a violation of some copiright law if you scanned the stories and posted them here? I enjoyed the one about one-shot-two-deer preacher, and the thought there's something even better and I can't read it is next to unbearable!

Historical guns have certainly picked up in interest, as Purdey #8464, #3 of a trio built for the Maharajah Duleep Singh in 1871.
