This new gun has Krupp steel barrels, finest imported English walnut stock, steel forgings, and the best of material in every part. The mechanism is simple, strong and all working parts are interchangeable. The barrels are locked by a rotary bolt through the extension rib, the bolt tapering to take up wear in all directions, and the gun is guaranteed never to shoot loose. The hammers are controlled by spiral springs and both main spring and top lever springs are guaranteed against breakage at any time. The friction on working parts is so reduced that the gun cocks as easily as a hammer gun.
The price of the Ansley H. Fox gun is from $50 to $500 list. The general appearance of the new gun is equal to the very best. The weight is from six and one-quarter to eight pounds.
