I have many years of experience with the 3M glaze and so am confident recommending it. I suppose you could try rottenstone but I consider this more "aggressive" and would prefer to work up to it if the glaze doesn't clear it up. You may need the glaze anyway to get the gloss back up after the rottenstone. Before doing anything you could try shining a UV lamp on the stock to see if that clears it up???
