I think I read that Hastings is currently making something like a 40" barrel for the 870 (a fine gun if ever there was one). Supposed to be for shooting pesky geese in urban/suburban environments, or some such.

Hastings Metro barrel extension? Shot skeet with an ol boy with one of those couple yrs. back. He was proficient with it despite butt in his armpit. Takes all kinds.

"I guess you're not going to tell us about the "issues". "

Your problem is you haven't learned the proper way to discuss guns. The more vague you are, the smarter you are. There's the 'In' crowd and the 'Out' crowd, and if you want to be 'In' you have to learn to say just enough so that the 'Out' crowd knows you know but they don't.

Let me give you some help understanding this with an example.

"Out" crowd talk:

By 1942, all of the world's major powers were engaged in war and it had become apparent that the USA would have to fight Japanese and German forces in two different theaters.

"In" crowd talk:

I'm aware that at some point in the past 75 years there may (or may not) have been some issues which created some conflicting actions between groups of people. Adolph can tell you the rest if he chooses to post.

Greg,

The reason I didn't answer was that I didn't know the question had been asked. I don't read ****Joe's posts, I've got him blocked and oddly enough it never affects my understanding of a
thread.

Sorry if I offended you. *bows and scrapes*

Looks like I need to add another one to my already long blocked list, my guess is that the lack of your input won't affect a thread either.
