Eightbore and Charlie,
Thanks for the response. I have only owned two 21's because I like light guns. I owned this gun a few years ago and sold it to buy something else with the promise of right of first refusal (because I knew that it was unusually light for a 21). The new owner was about to sell it, so I had to buy or lose it.
I don't think the stock is hollow, but I am going to have a friend who is an expert check it. I should hear tomorrow from Cody about the original configuration of the stock. The stock appears to be original but only has a length of pull of 13 1/2 inches to a checked butt. The gun has been redone correctly and looks very good. It has a small wrist which I like because of my small hands. The actual weight is 5 pounds and 14 ounces. With a slip on leather pad to get to 14 inches LOP the total weight is 6 pounds and 1 ounce.
My primary gun is a 28 gauge, but with the weight of this gun and the WS1 and WS2 chokes I am going to hunt with it at least a couple of times. The downside is that I had to pay top end retail to rebuy it.
The serial number is in the 11000 range and has the correct beaver tail with ejectors and selective single trigger.
Thanks for input and I will followup with additional information when I hear from Cody and have my friend check it.
Take Care,
Riprap
