How how long are the choke tubes?

If the tubes are longer than the shot charge before they start to constrict, the bore at entry doesn't matter.

The tube acts as a jug choke.. and then is constricted down.

I understand your concern... someone didn't ream to bore size before they threaded for the tubes. But.. it may not matter much and it does give you a great gas seal on the tubes.
