The batch of Reo primers I purchased last spring are the largest primers I have ever measured. They run about .002 larger than Remington, Federal, and Winchester. I usually load Rio's on the final reload on a particular batch of cases before discarding them. Other than size they seem to work just fine. I do not use them in loads approaching maximum pressure as I know of no published reloading data for them.

Winchester primers fall out of once-fired rio shells, proving Bills findings. If you expect to load the shells with other primers later, I would not use the Rios.

Suggest a separate priming operation, or set your equipment up to provide maximum primer seating force. Nothing is more annoying than a primer half way in binding a progressive loader up.
The boys at Airport Gun Club in Lancaster, Ohio use and reload RIO shells in all gauges and report good results. They sell RIO primers, and might be able to help you with loading data.
There should be 1200 primers in each brick, so that's good...

You're blowing away more American jobs at <8c/pop by buying these. indeed. chinamart did that to US sweater maker. They went for supply to a country where they have outhouses for 10c/sweater? saving. Thank God I don't ever have to shop at chinamart!
