Anyway, the scope in the pic is an old Leupold 1-4 variable that's scheduled to go on my 'Primitive' high wall when completed. I use the older longer scopes and like them for certain single shot applications, but also like the shorter modern scopes for others. The lever-release rings are an added bonus, a sort of lagniappe if you will, and are one of my favorite accoutrements for fine rifles.
