That is an interesting trigger. What type is that and what would it's benefit be? I have always been a double trigger guy and wanted to order DT's for my 21, but I guess that a ST looks best with a 21 as most were made with them and their ST is supposed to be the best design and extremely reliable. Thanks.

Kevin its a Winchester trigger as noted on the factory letter, "trigger in forward position" This is a large stocked gun, perhaps to add even more LOP. Only one of these triggers I have seen. Go with the single trigger, problem free and will keep the value of your gun up there where it belongs. JW

Kevin, Winchester would install a smaller guard for guys who wanted the trigger closer to the rear of the guard, but in your situation, I would ask Tony to make you a trigger like the one pictured.

Don't do it, Kevin!... unless you can get 34" barrels to rebalance it.

I understand and even harbor some of the affection many feel toward the Model 21, but at the prices for these guns today I would sure consider other options.
You might consider a F.lli Piotti BSEE, made to your specs. It will be slightly more, but in same ballpark. I think you will find you get a gun in a completely different league.
