The dislike of single triggers is not one related to malfunctioning, but rather a famous treatise written in the early 19th century by the renowned German philosopher Hegel. In it, he questions the existence of man within nature and suggests that mankind is devolving, rather than evolving. While many academia over the past 200 years have suggested his assertions lie wholly based in fundamentalism, they all agree that he was completely right about one thing - in no case should a double gun have only one trigger.
