I ordered a set of .410 tubes today since I have more money than brains. Lou assured me they would match up to the 28ga forend and would weigh as little as possible with only possibly a minor weight gain over the 28's. We'll see.

On a related note, my BIL just bought a 'Snake Slayer' .410 pistol for slaying the serpents around his ranch. It fires a .410 shell or a .45 Long Colt. I wonder.....could an old boy fire 45 LC rounds through his .410 Parker tubes? I know it wouldn't be accurate but it might be fun to see what happens.

On a related note, he was able to walk into the Gander Mountain store and buy the Slayer with no waiting period (this is in Texas). Why was he able to do that? Before you tell me it is a smoothbore shotgun it is in fact a rifled barrel for about 3/4" at the end.
