Hi, I do not know much about over under shotguns but i found this shotgun here in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. It is a 28Ga with 28" barrels maked as Pasper SRL. Pasper use to make cheap revolvers and some shotguns. I have never saw this type of actions and I would like to know if it is unique or is a copy of any other maker. Thanks Martin

Martin, am I corresponding with the famous right hand man of the reknowned Luis Sier, whose eyes are very brown? If not, this is quite a coincidence, as the Martin I know lives in Bahia Blanca, too.
I've never seen an over and under like that one. It does not appear to be a very high quality gun, but would probably be serviceable for awhile if the price was right. The external hammers are a first for me, never seen any like them. Was Pasper an Argentine maker?

Looks like a very refined version of the Stevens 240 over/under .410-bore.

Thank for the answers.
Stan, I know Luis Sier, he took some hunters some years ago to a hunting ranch I owned (big game hunting). IIRC only once or twice. Also Pasper was an Argentine gunmaker.
Researcher, Savage 240 have a standard pivot point and this gun have a build in pivot point. It looks very different to me.
It is not a top quallity gun but I have never saw on like that, not even in Lupi´s book "Grandi Fucili da Caccia Europei" and other books. It is very tight after more than 40 years of use.
Thanks Martin

Martin,
I thought maybe you were Martin Tellez, a guide for Luis. Should have known the chance of you being one in the same was very small.
Good to have you on the board. I noticed this was your first post.
Welcome!

That is some shotgun. With weak mainsprings and more aggressive hammer spurs, this would be a great entry level over under.

Expect you'd need to go back a lot farther than the Cynergy for patents. Like to the Swedish Flodman, to which the Cynergy bears a fair amount of similarity.
