I would like to see the NRA or another one of the pro-gun organizations take a greater interest in directly and vigorously attacking oppressive STATE laws. I think this is the "nidus of the infection" and allowing these laws to flourish in states like Hawaii, California, Illinois, Massachusetts and others eventually trickles up and leads to the nastiness we less often see at the national level. I applaud their efforts in the D.C. case but would like to see more of the same. I don't think there is a major push in that area right now.
I finally received a packet from the NRA yesterday more than three months after they cashed my check.
