Thoughts and prayers with Thad's family for their loss. Thad was a huge influence in the double gun trade for decades. A huge loss.

I bought a number of nice guns over the years from Thad. One gun had a hidden problem, a broken ejector on one barrel, and he took care of it instantly at his expense. He was always very helpful when you talked with him. I would also say of him that he was a true Southern gentleman. (and I am from the South, Ted)

I am so sorry to hear that. I had several long-distance dealings with Thad, and found him to be unfailingly courteous and helpful.

Thad Scott made many of the gunshows I attended. He was always a gentleman with time for every person who stopped to talk or look. . He sold good quality firearms and stood behind every sale. We need more like him. May his family find some solice in the way he lived his life.

A gentleman who will be missed. Sad to hear of another loss. Best to his family and I will say a prayer for them.

I wondered why he kept those 4 wheelers out front.
Great guy with an eye for guns that few could rival.
