Hello. It's my first time on Double gun forums. Please be gentle. Anyone know how to make Slakum? Please let me know if you don't mind. I've got a personal project that has a lot of sentimental value to me and I'd like to get the best finish possible. I'll be using a super curly walnut fiddleback blank and I'd like that old fashioned Purdy and sons look if possible. I do have previous experience w/Birchwood Casey's w/great results but I'd like to "Step it up a notch" on this project. If I'm able to get the recipe, I could sure use the process and application information as well. I know that it's a lot to ask for, but hey, thought you guys might like to help! Thanks in advance.
