I don't think it matters much what brand of polishing compound you use, but it's important
to work in stages (finer to finest). These compounds allow you to get a finer degree of polish
than you can get with rottenstone/steel wool. I also recommend checking out a few books on
traditional furniture finishing from the library. This helped me a bunch with basics.
