Mark, does your WR still have strong marks with the triangle and Westley Richards, London on it? The reason I ask is that it can be copied with tape and transferred so that an engraver can refresh the lettering.
1878, I had Borchardt and Hepburn rebarreled and the lettering done by acid etching. It looks reasonably well but not like a roll stamp. There was an aricle years ago about a high grade restoration done on a Hepburn and I believe they had a new stamp made to reletter the side of the receiver. That must have been spendy. Bob
