It is a Scott and Sons. I think it is from the 1880s but could be wrong. It has a well fractured buttstock but I repaired it so that it looks and works very well - at least to me.

I never measured wall thickness, but it is a pretty heavy gun, so I'm sure it's quite safe.

The turkey may have disagreed.
