I contacted RMC this morning.

Dave said that if the gun in question has ANY chamber pits, brass shells CAN NOT be used. They will expand and conform to any roughness in the chamber making them difficult if not impossible to remove.

Chamber re-lining, if not barrel re-lining, may be the last option. This could make the gun in question economically unfeasible as a project.
