This type of argument "It doesn't belong here" is the same type that's made by the antis whenever the Eddie Eagle NRA program is discussed. "Firearms education doesn't belong in the schools." The more these people can do to keep the general public blissfully unaware of the lies and exaggerations put out by the gun grabbers the more likely they are to succeed.
It's when things come out in the open that they go down in failure like the original assault weapons ban. This cost several congressmen their seats and thats why 65 of them wrote to the Obama Administration and asked that this legislation NOT be introduced again.

I have been posting on multiple forums for over 10 years and I have yet to see one "torn apart" by keeping the membership informed of issues and legislation that could affect their hobby.
