them guns are for people who do not know what to do with the money they have. take that wall street head of firm guy that made news few years back being worth 140mil after 6 months at his post. what's 30k, 60k, 150k when you have such net worth? it's just like joe avg. buying another cz-huglu or dare i say 870? nice guns to have if you already have EVERYTHING.
If there's something in the toy box for every player, then we all are happy.
I know a lot of people who shoot 870's. They could afford to shoot a higher grade gun, but they see no utility. The 870 "kills 'em just as dead."
An H&H in the hands of such a shooter is wasted. Success is measured by the amount of meat on the table.
Others appreciate fine hand craftsmanship, historic design and provenance. They will pay for that, as it brings them satisfaction. A long time ago I quit trying to explain this to the 870 crowd. To each his own.
But I say it's fallacy to declare that only the Wall Street fat cats can or should buy best guns. Many an average joe like me will make the choice to do so. But then, I don't have a glitter bass boat or a trophy house. All a matter of choice.
