You say Steve Barnett's prices are fair, and then tell me I was way out of line by asking $15K for my H&H Royal Ejector. Well, I'd like to show, [for the newbies on this board cause everyone else already knows], just how FOS you really are. Here's just a couple of comparisons for EVERYONE, to see, copied from his site.

Apples and oranges. A trade-built 1890 "Royal" retailed by Holland and a between the wars Holland-built Royal are entirely different guns, especially in terms of value. You have to compare similar guns to have a valid comparison.
Steve is a little too high on these type of holland's
I know two other dealers that have these vintage era holland's with original damascus barrels intact and are in proof and they are priced in the 10's. very reasonable for the quality you get.
If by trade you mean either scott's or Robertson supplied actions then stocked by robertson, fine by me, I have one and they are of exceptional quality.
the early hammerless royal's are what put holland on the map and when you think of the possibility that john robertson himself could have finished and stocked your gun......kind of gives me goosebumps.
