Chux, as far as I know the gun is righteous/all orig. But I 've only had it for 4 or 5 years. I got it for field use to save some others from abuse. Alot of that shine on the stock is from WD 40 I had on my gloves. Seems that those I Talian semi,s that some people swear by need some special assistance in wet/cold environs. Like when Abby gets back in the boat and does her shake and their gun is close by. The guy actually tore his boot in his wader trying to unstuck the frozen bolt with his foot. Then he looks at me, I just told him "Do not blame the dog!" 700X huh. I've been using PB. I'll have to give that a look.
