Lowell,

We WERE talking about prices asked for guns by different dealers, not how much they were actually sold for, cause we don't know that information. I stated that Steve Barnett's prices were high, and I stand by that statement. I've made my case by showing a couple of his ads, and if someone can SHOW OR PROVE me wrong, I am ready to listen.

I believe a gun is worth what is paid for it if the buyer is happy, but that ain't got nothing to do with whether or not the price asked was too high, because it's either too high or it isn't to high according to market value. If someone buys it for the TOO HIGH price that's cool, but the fact that the gun sold has nothing to do with whether the asking price was too high according to mkt. value.

In analyzing prices, you have to have a standard to go by, and I believe the standard is "market value" not what some "starry-eyed fool" actually paid for it!
