I'm no expert on gun values and pricing. I'm probably the big fool who gets robbed each time I buy. But I do know that on several occasions I have lusted for a gun but held back thinking it over-priced. Next thing I knew, the gun was sold to somebody else, and I wished I had paid the price. This just happened recently, in fact.

That's one of the functions of the free market system, as noted above.

I guess the moral to the story is: If you think the gun is priced too high, just don't buy. Make your best offer and wait. Either it will sell to somebody else, or the seller will be stuck with it, or the seller will change his mind and take your offer. It's business, not romance. There should be no hard feelings.
