Sorry Ed, my location used to be shown under the name; I'll try to figure out why it's gone. Yes, from England. No restrictions as to bore size. We have shot type restrictions; in England it is non-toxic shot for geese and ducks but in Scotland it only applies over wetlands. We have shot type restrictions; in England it is non-toxic shot for geese and ducks but in Scotland it only applies over wetlands. I tend to use the big 8 now when I go to Scotland to flight geese over fields where I can still use lead. I use it in England occasionally for blowing out grey squirrel dreys. I make all my own ammo for it so it is cheap to use. I've never seen to sink box used here but there is no reason why not. Punt gunning is still practiced. The only time it was suspended was during the war in case its outline was mistaken for a surfaced U Boat. Lagopus.....

Hm! This is one area where Brits seem to have more "gun freedom" than Americans.
There is currently a movie out named "Apaloosa". The "star" of the movie is a "studio tricked up" Damascus-barreled 8-gauge shotgun. I couldn't help but think, "I have GOT to get me one of these"!
