Took Abby and a Fox A 12 out on the river for geese this morning. Bismuth #2 hand loads 1 1/8 @ 1200fps. Abby had to chase and dive for all four of the tough old winter birds. Winter birds pretty much need a 10ga and a ton of shot. Tried a new load first using 7625. That powder does not like 15 degree weather. They sounded like an air rifle. Good thing I had my old loads. I think I might try some BB.
