I've read of several Fox Sterlingworth custom upgrades where the barrelsmith struck off the "Sterlingworth Fluid Compressed Steel" barrel legend to make the barrel look more pleasing. Of course a good barrel man wouldn't leave a flat spot where the legend was, but I wonder how successful that technique can be if the legend is deeply imprinted as they usually are? If anyone has such an upgrade I'd appreciate your perspective if the barrel breech looks "normal" and round in that area, or if there's an obvious oval profile if you look carefully. Thanks for any inputs. Silvers
