I had picked out about four that I thought were your possibilities. The Smith was one of them. The European configured Purdey Pigeon gun was a possibility regardless of its rather late manufacture, but, my gosh, it's choked like a real man's skeet gun. Obviously, some of these guns have been relieved a bit to be more suitable as game guns. Of course, some Purdey game guns for the US trade were made on pigeon gun actions to get the heavy proof. Apparently, Purdey was not fond of sending their game guns for 1 1/4 ounce proof. I still like that gun for its heavy proof and condition.
