According to Bob Elliot's estimation the G was Lefever's top selling grade @ approx 12k with the E 2nd @ approx 11K. H & F were 3rd & 4th respectfully @ 9.5K & 9K. DS dropped to 5K & in the grades above E the C was the leader @ about 3K with the D @ 2.4K. Above c they begin to get scarcer.

Chuck, There have been an unusual number of E grades on the market recently. Try Gunsamerica, check the Gunshop vendors and surf the web. They're out there. Trying to find a really light one may require a little more patience. If you get hooked on Lefevers, think about joining the Lefever Collectors Association, LACA. A mere $25 per year for newsletters chock full of Lefever info every other month. If you want any more info, feel free to contact me. Rich (RichardBrewster@nyc.rr.com)

Chuck H, I have a very high condition, light weight EE (6 lbs 8 oz) with loads of case color and original Damascus finish + a clamshell forend release. Soon after it left the factory, someone cut down the butt stock for a child or woman (who clearly never used it). I had it beautifully restocked to fit me - 14 7/8" LOP, 1 1/2" DAC. I have just bought another heavier EE with a clamshell release. Since I'm using a 20 ga for hunting, I'd be willing to part with the described light EE for what I've got in it - $3,900. Let me know. Rich
