Grampa, we seem to share more than Orange County. This "legacy" thing is why I don't like people who chamber weak actions for strongish ctgs. like a lo-wall for a .30-30. You and I know that it is really just for "lead bullets and light loads", but does the next guy? He may well think it's for .307-level .30-30 handloads.

And by the way, while I'm riding the crest of a downer, we all should have our guns listed, photographed, described in detail, and with some written sense of how they should be dealt with in case of our natural or unnatural demise.
