Last week I was able to inspect the 16.G. Monaco, guns described in my origional post. The guns are indeed pigeon guns. As predicted,they do fit in the category kmown as Belgian guild guns.That said,they were sideplated box locks of exceptional quality and condition,with superb engraving & retaining 95% case colours.The guns are N.P.with Steel barrels. They are in proof with minimum wall thickness of.038 inches.Weight of a gun was 6LBS,9OZS. Any ideas as to fair market value? [Sorry no pictures available.]
