I never used ear plus as a teenager. After a lot of shooting, my ears would ring for days.

Now I wear foam yellow ear-plugs and they seem to help a bit. Occasionally I go without when rifle shooting and only expecting two or three shots.

I can't easily follow coversations in crowded pubs or rooms with background noise. I have slight ringing in the ears pretty much all the time if I concentrate on it.

Hoping it won't get worse but not betting on it!
