I have a friend who had a uncle who worked for Remington. One day out Woodcock hunting I noticed the old shells he was using and on the inside of the box they where marked slightly imperfect. His uncle gave him a case of these after he stopped hunting. Said employees could buy these at reduced cost. My buddy gave me a box and shot up the rest. I also have a box of Federal Monarchs marked seconds. I have been given old paper shell over the years and some are fine then run into misfires by the bunch.
