Laws do not deter. they are a means and instrument to punish offenders. Regardless of whether its guns, drugs, assualt, robbery etc.
Would the AG want to enact censorship laws if Pornogrpahy was a problem in Mexico? Why are they so intent on sucking up to every other country at the expense of the citizenry of this country?
If what Mexico is claiming, that illegal guns are coming from the US, enforce the existing law. The guns are illegally purchased and illegally sent accross the border. Wonder how they get though Mexican border checkpoints? So we pay because they have a corrupt system. Again, the law abiding citizenry of the US will pay for this. Our rights will be further eroded.
I love double guns, I also love to shoot the evil "black rifles". If it burns powder I like it.
Oh, and before we forget; cop killer bullets? all you double rifle lovers better hang on. Your 450 NE or for that matter you bolt action guys with your 375 H&H or you 30-06; all will qualify as a cop killer because they will all penetrate a level 3A vest.
so, just becuase your double isnt a concern at the moment, think again. If you dont think there are a number of draconian gun control measures in the works, you are fooling yourselves.
For Those of you who favor or are agreeable to more "sensible gun controls", what sensible measures do you feel would be appropriate or that are needed. That is taking into consideration the existing laws and procedures we have to abide by? I want to know. would you be okay with a large tax on ammo, say 300-500% as has been proposed in the past. Would you agree to one gun a month? Would you agree to pre-requisite of mandatory training beofre you can get that federal buyers permit? would you agree to mandatory inpsection of your house to make sur eyou have your guns stored properly? there's more but here are a few.
