We hashed this all over during the election process and those of us who said this was going to happen were told we were imagining things. According to the naysayers who post here; Obama said over and over he believed in individual gun owner rights but with "sensible gun laws". The problem with him is he's never yet seen a gun law yet that isn't "sensible".
Our only hope is that the Democrats that suported the original "Assault Weapons Ban" will remember what happened in the mid-term elections during the Clinton years. Any way you look at it; It's going to be a very long and difficult 4 years.
