Hi Brian, I know of one and he has not come forward yet. He is a friend, a gunner but misled. I have had many discussions with him to no avail. I am still hoping he sees the light. I will be curious to see if now he will see this and speak up and explain to us his reasons. Jeff G.

I really would like to understand. As far as W goes or shall I say "went"
he wasnt perfec , not by a long shot. He didnt do a great job with naything. Mistakes were made and all. But I prefer him to the current state of affairs.
as far as being politically correct and appeasing everyone else. We all heard references about W; he's a cowboy, hes acting like a Texan, he has that Amrican attitude and simlar comments. You know what, so what?! I am sick and tired of those who try to apologize for the collective/selected beliefs, mannerisms, speech, gun/huntign culture culture, ideals, morals, views, beliefs and American way of life that seems to offend the American Liberals, Europeans, Middle Easterners etc.
The tolerance, change, inclusion that is supposed to be the way of the future sure doesnt inlcude us.
I know, this isnt the place but it is unsettling when i view across the pnd what is happening.
And to think so many drank the Koolaid for this.

PA24- they speak of me and Limbaugh in the same sentence. Wow, now that is a real newsflash. You are 110% right on the money- He, Obama, is all "smoke and mirrors"- the cowardly scam artist hiding behind the screen posing as the "All Knowing Wizard of Oz"--Interesting that you mentioned 4 Jewish folk here, mainly the "HollyWood Ding-A-Lings"all Liberal and anti-gun. Yet Israel has become a "Take No prisoners" Land with the "Never Again" motto- don't these 4 idiots recall the Hollocaust, and that Herr Hitler disarmed German (and every country his Third Reich bullies took later) first shot out of the box-Hollywood is so far out of touch with the real world, these 4 idiots, as well as other high placed people, have bodyguards- and in NYC, where the anti-gun Sullivan Act of 1911 dis-armed the law abiding, guess who has enough juice to get a CCW- inspite of the anti-gun Jewish Mayor's regime-- yup- Old "You Lookin' At Me" native son and Tribeca wunderkind- Bobby DeNiro-- go figure that!!

Damn glad we have intelligent Officers like you guarding our freedom Brian. Yup- DeNiro is "juiced in" but if you or I were carrying in "Da Big Wapple" and two three-time losers that just escaped from Attica came towards us and our ladies as we are headed for a nice restaurant and we "popped a few caps" into their sick and sorry selves, we'd be in Attica, and they'd get some shyster lawyers to sue us for all the money in the world. Police protection- in big cities, and now even rural areas-that's a joke. As the saying goes- "I'd rather be judged by 12 men than carried by 6"..

If the Obama man has any sense at all He'll just keep threatening new gun laws for the next 4 years. These threats have driven gun sales to their highest levels ever and he's providing a real job/financial incentive here without costing the taxpayers one dime. Kind of ironic isn't it? Jim

Never thought of it that way, but you make a very valid point. Gun sales, ammo, gun parts, going through the roof-and the "word on the street" I hear is- stock up now. Another way to "be fore-armed by being fore-warned" is to monitor the new hirees in the BATF-and where they are being assigned. If we see more "goons against our guns" on the street, that should also be a telling sign. Assume the worse, and plan accordingly- remember "I'm from the Gov't and I'm here to help"-- Right!!

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.
“What food might this contain?' The mouse wondered - - -he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.
Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning:
There’s a mousetrap in the house!
There’s a mousetrap in the house!'
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, 'Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me.
I cannot be bothered by it.'
The mouse turned to the pig and told him,
'There’s a mousetrap in the house!
There’s a mousetrap in the house!'
The pig sympathized, but said, I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray.. Be assured you are in my prayers.
The mouse turned to the cow and said
'There’s a mousetrap in the house!
There’s a mousetrap in the house!'
The cow said, 'Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose.
So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.
That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.
The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness,
she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught.
The snake bit the farmer's wife.
The farmer rushed her to the hospital, and she returned home with a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient..
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock.
To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died.
So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered
to provide enough meat for all of them.
The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.
So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it
doesn't concern you, remember ---- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.
I think the reason I posted this story is self evident. For those of you who are active here and only are interested in double guns and are complacent about other categories of firearms that are currently threatened it's a BIG mistake. We're all going to have to swim together or we'll in fact sink together. Divide an conquer is a key strategy of the gun grabbers.

That's the best written example of what myself and others have been trying to say here-Sure, we think few gangbangers want to take our LeFever Durstons or our Fox Sterling Worths, saw them down to 22" or so, and use them to rob 7-11's with, but in this day and age, all legitimate firearms and their owners must be on DEF-CON 5- 24/7.
The mousetrap- that represents the numbnutted like the Sarah Brady-Bunch- blindly thinking that if they can control the legit ownership of handguns (2nd. Amendment be damned) they can control crime. I only wish she and Dianne FeinStein and Ruth Bader Ginzburgh were the farmer's wife when the trap set for the mouse actually goes snap on a "three timer from Attica with a stolen Mac-10 who just held hostage a busload of school kids from St. Monica's Academy and shot the lady driver to 'get some attention'-- Let's end the petty bickering over chickenshit details about the guns we collect, shoot and love-let's all work toward the bigger picture- we just "squeaked by" last July- 5 to 4- and if we make the mistake of thinking the anti's have folded their tents and gone to TimBuckTwo-- WRONG-O!!

This will be a caught in between a rock and hard place thing for gun owners. If the bailout works, god will smite your guns, it if does not work, he'll have to tread water for four years.
