With all due respect, the annointed one's laws aren't the only one's making it down the pike. Check out HR 197, a national right to carry law, which, if passed, would allow for concealed carry in all states, regardless of whether the state has a concealed carry law. Montana is considering several laws related to "Castle Doctrine" concepts, and it looks as if these will pass. Minnesota will likely get a re-write of the law stating hunting firearms have to be transported unloaded and cased in the trunk of the vehicle-you could transport unloaded and uncased in the vehicle. The state is looking to reduce "tension" between DNR officers and the public, a great move, IMHO.
Right in Nancy P's backyard, the San Francisco public housing gun ban went straight down the drain. Will NOT be reconsidered, any time soon. Too bad, Gramma P.
The gun banners will have their work cut out for them. Talk of public unrest in the streets, is just that. John Q Public, even in tough times, understands his neighbors are a mostly armed lot. I think he will sell his boat and snowmobiles before he chooses to runs amok in broad daylight.
Best,
Ted
