Thanks David, ok, I think I have it. Let me get this part straight, once the gauge is in the bore, reset to zero to read choke?

Here's what I get on one bbl as an example (the choke is supposed to be Improved Mod.):

I get .025 when the gauge is in the bbl. This would be a bore of .725

If I reset to zero in the bbl I get .072 at the muzzle

If I don't reset to zero I get .096 at the muzzle

So what am I doing wrong? At what point with this gauge will I get a choke measurement?
